Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 June 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the CQC Mock Audit website (www.cqcmockaudit.co.uk) and the services provided by CQC Mock Audit, operated by Melanie Jonas Mhango, 23 King Street, Cambridge, CB1 1AH. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

CQC Mock Audit provides mock CQC inspections, compliance audits, consultancy, toolkits, and ongoing support packages for CQC-regulated health and social care providers across England. Our services are advisory in nature. We do not guarantee any specific CQC rating outcome, as final ratings are determined solely by the Care Quality Commission.

3. Rating Improvement Guarantee

Our Rating Improvement Guarantee applies exclusively to clients who have purchased an On-Site Mock Inspection. The guarantee is conditional upon the client providing documented evidence that all recommended actions from our report have been fully implemented within the agreed timeframe. If these conditions are met and the CQC rating does not improve at the next inspection, we will conduct one follow-up re-audit at no additional charge within 6 months of the inspection result. This guarantee does not apply to Remote Mock Inspections, Compliance Toolkits, or Ongoing Support Packages.

4. Booking & Payment

All services must be booked via our scheduling system or by direct arrangement. Prices are as quoted on our website or in a bespoke proposal. All prices are quoted in GBP. VAT at the prevailing rate is applicable where stated. Payment terms are 50% deposit upon booking confirmation, with the balance due upon delivery of the final report (unless otherwise agreed in writing). We accept bank transfer and other payment methods as communicated at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations made 7-14 days before will receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 7 days before will not be eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled once subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule if unforeseen circumstances arise, in which case we will offer alternative dates at no additional cost.

6. Confidentiality

All information shared with us during the course of our engagement is treated as strictly confidential. Our findings, reports, and recommendations are provided exclusively to the commissioning client and will not be shared with third parties (including CQC) without your explicit written consent. We may use anonymised, non-identifiable data for the purposes of improving our services.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, reports, toolkits, templates, and content created by CQC Mock Audit remain our intellectual property. Upon payment in full, clients receive a licence to use delivered materials for their own internal purposes. Materials may not be resold, redistributed, or shared with third parties without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our services are advisory and do not constitute legal advice. We are not liable for any decisions made or actions taken by you based on our recommendations. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
